How do textures work when exporting a track to supertuxkart?

I am trying to follow the "Making tracks" tutorial, but I either didn't notice, or it didn't mention how to make textures work when exporting the track. Sorry if this is really obvious, but I am just stuck on one spot and I don't want a bright white track.

When exporting you can set the checkbox "copy textures" or something like that. For some textures it fails to copy them to the export directory of your track, you have to copy them manually.

It's not working still, the track is completely white.

You have to copy all textures you want to use into your track folder. Except if the textures come from the STK textures folder, then you don't have to copy them into your track folder.

I did that, but what i'm asking is how do I apply the textures? The track making tutorial wasn't clear on how to do that.

You need to UV unwrap your objects in blender and when you are in edit mode and viewing the UV map you can choose an image in the UV viewer. (Does not work with blender 2.8)
Here it is explained more in detail: https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3 ... Map_Basics
