What exactly is "svn browsing"? Does this term mean browsing through the SVN repo via your Browser?
If yes, via what protocol? svn://?
Sorry for my question; I only wondered since I'm able to browse through it via https:// (and always have been)

But IMHO using subversion client is very slow

I prefer using "Download GNU tarball" link

But IMHO using subversion client is very slow I prefer using "Download GNU tarball" link

After the initial checkout, you can simply use the svn update feature and then it's much faster
