Don't take it bad . It's not offensive. Let me explain

We (the team) have literally tons (billions) of great ideas, but we don't have the time to do them . So we try to make the most interesting and important ones. Like making all tracks in high definition or implementing an online game.

So unless your idea is really awesome (and sorry I don't think making a model of Linus T. is an awesome idea ^^), the only way to make it is by learning yourself how to do it and becoming a contributor.
That's exactly how I started back in 2010.
