I keep running into a bug in the Bovine Barnyard.

I keep running into a bug in the Bovine Barnyard.

Reinstalling solved the problem. I guess something just got corrupted somehow. Thanks for the help though.

For some reason, every single time I try to race in Bovine Barnyard, the game crashes at some point during the second lap. Doesn't seem to be an exact spot where it occurs, it happened one time right when I crossed the line into lap 2, and another time I got almost to the end before it crashed. Does anyone have any idea what might possibly be causing this, and how to fix it?

Also, where is my story mode progress saved so that i can make a copy of it and move it back over in case I need to reinstall the entire game?

What platform are you on, and do you see any error message in the terminal? I assume you are using version 0.8?

Reinstalling the game does not overwrite the config (which includes story mode), but be aware that different versions of STK are incompatible, so if you are running 0.8, then start 0.7* in between, all your 0.8 config will be lost (and vice versa).

I'm running 64 bit Windows 7. And yes, it's 0.8, but it's the PortableApps version.
I've also tried playing on other computers, which are also Windows 7 but I'm not sure whether they're 32 or 64 bit, and I run into the same problem.

Can you try running our version, not the portable one (which isn't provided or supported by us)? Maybe something went wrong in their build process (since I am not aware of any problems with our bnary, and I am running on 64 bit Windows 7, too.

Note that the portable version might store user data in a different place, I don't know - you have to check with them. I would expect that you can just copy the config directory from the portable location to the one I've mentioned before.
