Port to GCW?

Port to GCW?

Postby 3xcl4m4t10n » 18 Jan 2013, 12:28

Hello!

Only asking, not requesting nothing :D.

Can it be possible?

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gcw ... g-handheld

And the specs:

http://www.gcw-zero.com/specifications

Thanks for your time!

Can you send some copies of gcw to our devs?

Moreover I don't think it'd look appropriate on such display that is 'ideal for retro gaming'.

I just was asking if it is "technically" possible. I have no GCW neither mine XD

STK supports 320x240?

No. Default resolution is 1024x768; 800x600 is theoretically possible to use but is no longer recommended. 320x240 would need its own GUI.
Hey pal, I took an oath for justice! "In happy days or tightest tights..." or something like that.

It's hard to tell, I haven't found the specs for the GPU that's in there. I suspect it may be less powerful than needed for STK. Of course it's always possible to build a "stk lite" data set but I don't think the core team is going to get involved with that

At least we know it's GLES2-compliant, which means it's shader-based.
We should need the GLES fork of Irrlicht...
I think as a whole this demands some work, and more importantly access to the device ^^.
