Bugs in the time-bomb swatting procedure

Bugs in the time-bomb swatting procedure

Postby Binky » 31 Jul 2012, 15:53

I've found (a couple of times now) that if something happens while you are swatting a time bomb, you end up with a non-working bomb
Once I've ended up with a bomb with the needle spinning (was given a parachute while swatting)
and one the needle stuck pointing up wards, and neither swatter, bumping into other karts, getting another bomb (which was drawn in the same place resulting in two needles!), driving into a banana or being rescued would make it go away

Has this happened to anyone else? Does it happen in the latest dev version?
OpenPandora obsessive - You do want a pocket sized Linux PC with gaming controls, don't you?
Full root access out of the box - Full qwerty keyboard - Full battery lasts 15 hours of real work!

Hmm, I have experienced this before in 0.7.3. I don't use the latest dev version, so I can't confirm if it has been fixed or not

Yes, this has happened to me. I tested it by getting full swatters, then running into bananas until I got a time bomb, then activating a swatter and driving through another banana before it knocked the bomb off. The needle either freezes or keeps going in a circle. I have had ten dud time bombs on at one time. XD Frankly, I think it's cool to have a dud time bomb, so I am not worried about it.
Bananas are yummy

Some people are like slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't help smiling when you shove them down the stairs.

You may report your problems there to indicate that it's reproducible.
