Play STK without keyboard

Hi, I am a german living in Switzerland and only user not developer of STK.

I try to reach you STK guys here to ask the following:

I would like to play gamepads only, but can't get rid of the keyboard?
Any help??

Can you please elaborate? As far as I know it should be possible to play with gamepad

I play with a gamepad more often than with a keyboard, the only thing I think I can't do is add users since I can't seem to figure out how to type the characters with the gamepad .

Everything else works fine.

Sure, of course I can play with the gamepad, also two are no problem, but I can't skip that one (the first) player needs to use the keyboard.
Hence, if we are two players, we cannot play with two gamepads, but one has to use the keyboard?

Any idea? Did I miss something?

If you enter the 'Race' menu with a gamepad, you should be able to both play with gamepads.
