Training room

Postby hwoarangmy » 17 Aug 2014, 23:10

Hi,

I've made a pull request for the animated dummies. I've also fixed 2 segfaults when killing AI's dungeon temple and when some room objects were removed. I've tried to launch some single player games on the small map and I've seen no segfault since the last patch (something like 5 games between 30 to 60 minutes) by letting the AI fight alone or killing all the other players :)
So far, it seems pretty stable. It would be nice if people could test this version with linux to see if it is stable or not.
All the tests I've done were on Windows 7 with version compiled with MinGW.

Thanks

Nice pull request! I'll give it a try in the evening.

Question: ill prepare more models later for this room and many others, is your fix able to work with other models as well?

@Danimal: If the newer models have the same scale and default rotation than the current. you should be able to test only by renaming it, as before.
But maybe you meant something else?

in addition to what Bertram said, the models have to have a "triggered" animation.
Then, we could add them randomly as it is done for the library
