Ok, after having discussed how the forum should be structured I just wanted to put up a poll, to decide if we should go with the "many sub-forums"-approach or select the simpler approach with only three sub-forums.
1) The first option is this structure:
Developers
* Game-play
- Functionality in the game, specification of factions, etc.
* Models
- Creatures, rooms, traps, dungeon geometry, etc.
* Sound & Music
- Sound effects, sound system techniques, music composition, etc.
* Mapping
- Multi-player maps, and single-player campaign, level-scripting, etc.
* Administration
- Wiki, forum, project page, and public relations, etc.
* Miscellaneous
- Things that does not fit in the above.
Players
* Installation and upgrading
- Questions and troubleshooting with installation and upgrading.
* Miscellaneous
- Things that does not fit in the above.
The text after the "-" is the description of the forum. If there is enough threads about a specific subject in the Miscellaneous sub-forum these will be candidates to be moved into a new sub-forum for that subject.
2) The second option is a simpler structure:
* General discussion & help
- Troubleshooting, installation and upgrade help, etc.
* Art, media & other contributions
- Models, maps, sounds, music, etc.
* Development & planning
- Wiki, forum, project page, git, public relations, etc.
So which option should we choose? You can always change your mind, by changing your vote, this is real democracy
