Some people are like slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't help smiling when you shove them down the stairs.

Did you make this? it looks a lot better than my crummy little job of improving :( I tried racing it but STK crashed right after I started, so I took a look at the blender file and it looked good, though the white road was annoying(in-game).

Yes, we really need to get this track moving again. It has too many good idea's to let is slip into oblivion.

Has somebody got some sources from kalado(a recent as possible)? Then we can decide who will be working on it.

I asked Kalado if I could work on it and here is his reply
Hello CT, da'Bomb

As you have seen I tried to make some improvements to the sandtrack, but
I haven't have time to work anymore on this. Everything I made is under
the same license as the one of the original track, so of course you can
reuse my artworks. I wish you good luck to improve this nice track.

Kalado.

I uploaded his most recent version, with a few minor changes by me.

The first picture is a present that has been placed in a bad spot.
The second one, will need to be dealt with in some way

Nice! :D
3 points:
- There is something wrong with the textures around the water. I fell into the pond and saw a lot of missing textures (water too low?).
- Could you make the road look like (light sand showing through tracks/cracks in the dark top-soil)
- Add some drive particles to the track texture to sell the illusion of sand.

I get what you mean now, But to get a better idea of what you mean, could you post an overhead view showing your idea?
