Hello, just wanting to know how to control the IRC in RedEclipse (join and quit channels, open the IRC in RedEclipse etc.) and how to switch from first to third person view.

The same way you do with all IRC clients:
/join #channel_name
/quit
You can open the IRC window with:
/showgui irc
or bind it:
/bind P [ showgui irc ]
Press F9 to toggle third person.
