So, a triangular monocle with a thick band in place. As for the hat, are you referring to a tricorn, or a more stereotypical kind of hat?

Althogh I mentioned it already in the past, I repeat my idea here: a tiny spherical drone. It should fly parallel to the players head, instead of surrounding him all the time.
(If anybody would model this, this could become more than a accessory. The drone could be a little supporter for faster healing, auto firing or whatever...).

Oh gosh, I hadn't realized people were thinking about these items to boost stats or something... that sounds horrifying in my eyes, lol, sorry.

Between that and the already psuedo-class-based game RE has already become with the arena/classic switch, that'd be quite the departure from the game it originally was. Might be enough to push people over the edge as far as wanting to play it. Heck, almost enough to push me over the edge as much as I dislike saying that. : ( If you go into a game looking for a certain fix and it changes to the point that that goes away, so too does the incentive to play it.

All my opinion though of course. Maybe I'm in the minority in thinking these things would be heading in the wrong direction.

On a separate note, regarding those who think purely cosmetic items would be too goofy -- there's a "forceplayermodels" command or something similar that would solve that. The game could be as silly or as sombre as you want it to be then. Could just implement a button in the player setup menu that uses that command.

funny items are funny, I think just as an option, and only if it can be turned off.
and how is this idea better than my jet pack options? roll pitch yaw = pure awesome

Uh, items won't be changing stats. At least not any time soon, and not without a good discussion.

Haha i really like the idea of a quinbeard. We could make a gamemode out of it: 1 team with beards and the other team is equipped with a razor. The plasma model could be used for this. :D

lmao, I support this idea wholeheartedly. The rocket launcher still looks like a trashcan to me too -- we can throw away the clippings in there and shoot them off into space.
