When I was in the Xonotic forums back then, I have mentioned that I preferred Red Eclipse on the Xonotic forums, but I also liked Xonotic too, and they deleted my post and banned me from their forums.

Also we have several Red Eclipse threads on our forums, so I sincerely doubt that.. unless perhaps you posted some trolling-style topic or you created the thread in the wrong topic.
