Why Low FPS?

I wanted to test the game. Download and install it.
But in the game low fps. I'm running on a Pentium 4, then on the netbook FPS will be even lower.
You use Python in game? Why is the game so slow?
When you make the release of the game, it will work only on the processors with 4 cores?

what version are you using? some versions on some computers had slowdowns. I believe that this was fixed in more recent GIT/SVN

I use last version. Low FPS only on old computer. On New computer all nice (with maximal level effects).

And how change frequency of the screen?
What other settings have game?
In the config all options and variables or not? Game have hidden setting?

And also I have a bug in the game. The game is very slow, but I press Esc twice and it works much faster.

Please post full specs. Simply "old computer" means nothing. Graphics card? Memory? OS? More information is required.

I mean, if you're running it in WINE on Fedora Core 6 using the open source drivers on an integrated intel graphics chipset, then it can't be expected to run well. However, we have no idea what your setup is so can not advise as such.
