Syntensity Video Tutorial Brainstorm

The most difficult part of syntensity creating (web-interface interaction) will likely be obsolete soon.

That leaves us with

1. Map editing which is largely Sauer/Cube editing, sure there are videos on that somewhere, the only real difference is the entity system, which kripken and quaker66 have partially covered

2. Scripting. This is kind of split between writing fresh code and using existing libraries. Using existing libs/cloning is far easier, but yet again, the easiest way to do this is to use the web interface to clone a game, and I'd like that to change as well. I'm not on top of writing fresh code, this is a bit of a stumbling block

In a perfectly implemented system, these videos would need to be made:

Requisitioning (requisitioning a server to run a pre-made activity)

Map Creation (create a map asset + runnable activity, upload)

Map Cloning (clone an existing map + edit it, upload)

Map Editing Basic (extrude, slope, texture, materials)

Map Editing Advanced (Heightmaps, texture blending + alpha, entity placement + editing)

Server runner plugin (show how to run the map locally)

Server setup (show how to setup a server to run normally)

Masterserver setup (optional)

Basic Scripting (modifying existing script variables + adding small changes + debugging)

Script Remixing (taking parts of scripts from one game and importing it into another + debugging)

Advanced Scripting (creating scripts as seperate assets/libaries, capi calls, game manager use etc)

Seperate scripting tutorials covering basic programming skills ?

Asset Creation (creation of model and texture assets + using them in a map (scripting) )
