Light Rays

Hey guys, can you add light rays to syntensity? My game concept really depends on them, the only thing that currently can do it in Cube 2 is sauerbraten enhanced SVN which apparently doesn't work for me.

This project is kinda interesting, since it also gives me ability to add vehicles in my game.

Well, we're actively working at porting and becoming feature complete with all the other sauer mods. We have spotlights from the latest Sauerbraten SVN, but those are static so most probably not what you are looking for. We'll definitely have dynamic light rays in at some point though :)

Sauerbraten advance'd glowparticles aren't volumetric, as I see it, either...

Do you mean those "god rays" or projected textures such as a flashlight?

PS: can Sauer do volumetric fog? Cause I remeber Quake 3 could *grumble grumble*... :P

I have seen fog in BloodFrontier, but I wouldn't call it volumetric.. Hmm, that's somethign that needs to be hacked in, then
