Syntensity Marketing

Postby TheAncientGoat » 02 Feb 2010, 19:56

So, where have you guys mentioned Syntensity/Where do you think would be a good place to mention Syntensity?

Wave listing: http://antimatter15.com/misc/read/?goog ... +DSmQmXX0N

I've mentioned it on:

Identica
Reddit
Google Wave
StumbleUpon
Linux Game Tome/happypenguin
Linux Game Database
+FSDaily

#OpenGameArt (but not the site)

Places that I have not mentioned it on:

The Indie Gamer Source (tigsource) forums
Slashdot
Libre Game Wiki
Wikipedia
LinuxGamer/s
RockPaperShotgun forums
Digg

Anyone want to add to the list / have any ideas?

I think Libre Game Wiki serves a purpose, however, I don't know how a big a marketing impact it would have..

Cool, thanks ghoulsblade, I've been trying to get linuxgames to post about the web plugin, but the submit system said my article was spam :( They have done an article on syntensity in the past though, it's on the wave-list (which anyone can view btw)

Also, kripken did make a post on gamedev.net, but no one replied. Maybe another try might be worth it, but the last one wasn't so successful

I'll check out the last two links as well :)

Facebook is a good idea for FOSS projects because developers and contributors like to "personally" support the projects they work on. I tossed up a group real quick. :) http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=313382824002

Nice, Bios, did you show it to kripken? Because we should push it if he agrees...

Cool, we should list it on the website, blog, game DB listers, see if we can get something to update our identica and/or twitter feeds into the group, upload a couple of screenshots...
