Played the game for at least an hour, it's pretty good and fun at times, until you drive into oil ponds a few times in a row or get confused by some of the tracks and you end up lost. Too bad it lacked sound (at least for me). The website is also decent looking :)
Will definitely keep an eye on the project.

Thanks! I really appreciate any good words :)

Sound is very high up on the 'TODO' list. I had it implemented using Audio tags, but it didn't work well on any browser. Need to redo it with WebAudio API.

Incidentally, I just finished a redesign of the website, it's pretty now!

Somebody made engine sounds and posted them on OGA. Here are my two latest attempts at creating looping engine sounds:

4 new tracks, "Sandstorm" for example

Postby Wuzzy » 07 Jun 2012, 22:27

Here's a quick 'n' dirty track:
Sandstorm
The only special thing on this track: It has a seperate starting area.

Update (June 8 2012):
Here are three more tracks, attached to this posting:
Miniature Course: The shortest Bandit Track (so far), thus it has 10 laps. It has a seperate starting area. Although it looks simple. You WILL get killed OFTEN on this track, I promise! :D
Kissing Frogs Track: A long and complex grass track with many curves. On three parts of this tracks the street "kisses" (the streets are close together and there are not obstacles between them), thus allowing to shoot enemies that are far behind or beyond at these "kisses". Of course you still have to stay on the road to complete the laps. Because this track is so long, you have to household your weapons. Will you wait until the enemies are right in front of you or will you "kiss" them to death?
Double Lane: A very simple track. It is basicly just two long straight lines, connected by two long 180° curves. The long straight lines however allow great long-distance missile or machine-gun battles.

:( the steering didn't work for me.
Some people are like slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't help smiling when you shove them down the stairs.

Two more tracks

Postby Wuzzy » 07 Mar 2013, 15:08

I have created new tracks!

The second one is “Bandit's Tribute”. Is has lots of narrow curves which are difficult to steer unless you drive a Bandit. But even with Bandit the track can be quite a challenge if you have aggressive enemies. 5 laps.

The first one is “Curvy Circuit”. It is short to mid-length and has 5 laps. There are lots of narrow curves, too. And there is one crossing, which adds some extra-fun! The starting grid is seperated from the main track. This track can be a challenge, too. 5 laps.
