Hi all,

Has anybody played FAR colony ? It seems it will take a long time before we get a playable release. I do hope farcodev also makes an untimed one for newbies who don't really know the intricacies of terraforming or whatever it would take to have a sustainable thing on the planet.

It's maybe a necro thread/answer but anyway.
I just seen your post by pure luck browsing how the game is referred on Google...

The first phase is timed, but you can take a lot of turns even before to reach the 365 standards days limit.
I don't remember (and I'm not at home to look the todolist file) when I implemented the turn-based game flow but it is now.

By the completion of the 0.6 there will be at least on mode of colonization that will allow the player's faction to start fully independent (with its pros and cons) without timing.

Anyway the end of the colonization phase will not be the end of the game too (at least after I will continue to expand the game beyond the 0.6)
