I do not know the count of spanish FOSS spanish (or people are in spain) players/developers in the forum. But I think that is a good idea make a meeting.
I have found that this week (on thursday), there will be a "indie devgamer meeting" in Madrid city, the title in english is as "Night of beers, indie games and other stuff".
Good idea, I think qubodup has done it similarly with "indie game jams" in Berlin.
Our community here is probably too thin spread to organize our own meetings.
P.S.: I remember that there used to be a quite active Spanish community around open-source handhelds like the GP32/GP2X that also did meetings. Maybe you can see if something still exists around that theme?
Ok, if somebody ever comes to Cuba (specifically to Santiago, in the east), we can have a meeting here. There are not many game developers here, but I can find one or two.
Yes I am. and yes, we had FLISOL two weeks ago, and I presented a conference about Torque3D. Not that I had a very interested or abundant public, but a friend want me to impart the same conference to university students.
Sorry, no. Actually there wasnt even a proper projector and I had to use a small display. The event was organized in a hurry and anyway we lack some niceties like video cameras and such.
