gameLV - x errors

Hi all,
I hope everybody has seen this :-

http://freegamer.blogspot.in/2012/05/ga ... ource.html

I saw this and promptly downloaded the source from github and compiled. No issues so far.

While playing the game as well there were no issues.

It was only after I ended the game, that I got this :-

{l Code}: {l Select All Code}
~/games/GameLV/data$ ./run.sh
X Error of failed request:  BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request:  129 (XFree86-VidModeExtension)
Minor opcode of failed request:  10 (XF86VidModeSwitchToMode)
  Value in failed request:  0x460000e
Serial number of failed request:  371

What it did was reduce my resolution from 1024x786 (or even higher if memory serves me right) to something pathetic. I also failed to find where it put the save/config file. The readme is not surprisingly sparse. https://github.com/snauts/GameLV

I'm unable to get the author's complete e-mail address. There is a chestnut.org domain name but not really sure if that is where the author is.

Preferably I would like to run the game in windowed mode with possibility of having control at what resolution I want it to run.

You can find the author's email on http://piepe.lv/

Alternatively you could report an issue

Look into run.sh script. It launches executable from source directory with -f flag (fullscreen). You can delete that flag. Or just run "../source/game-lv" from data directory.

Actually had tried that, but without going to the /data directory and then doing it as you told. Now it works. The music is nice. For the audio stuff wish you had put up it up at sourceforge.net or somewhere else. Mediafire is not good. Otherwise nice background score.
