Hi,

the add-on site is just starting to work. Soon we will start going through the add-ons.

But Stephen is right, your license files are generally inappropriate; for instance using models and textures from the Blender Foundation, who required attribution, without attribution

Yes because, I prefer to spend time drawing, I am a graphic designer. I do not want to spend time managing the work of the others.

I wish to avoid the trash can in all these contributions

The license field is populated when you upload a new revision. It would be too much work for the time being to be able to update the license directly on the site - would need to unpack/repack the zip files with the addon, which is rather complex at the moment.

I wanted to upload a file (a blend file zipped) I got this error message:

{l Code}: {l Select All Code}
Invalid archive file. The archive must contain the addon's xml file.

Did you include track.xml / kart.xml inside?

Is it possible to send a comment to a kart or a track ?

Do you think about an evaluation system ?

Except this the website is great to use.

The track "On an iceburg" seems to be available in stkaddons.net, but it does not show up as download in the game... What gives?

Asciimonster, in order not to overload the server, the in-game add-on list is updated automatically once every two days only; but you can click on the refresh button to refresh it manually

at this time it is not possible; maybe in the future we can add this feature - we just need to think it properly so that we don't end up with spam

I think we are only going to add voting - comments would require too much management work (i.e. to clean up inappropriate comments etc). Please check also with trac - we already have an enhancement ticket for this (#213). Note that this is not really a short term goal atm, meaning: I want to focus on our milestones, but would be very happy if someone would work on this ;)

The reload button works, it now shows my Cube track (pride hard to contain ;) ), but the iceberg track still isn't shown :? ... I'm beginning to think this is a bug :( . (I'm using 0.7.2 on Win7)

The track isn't approved yet, so it doesn't show up in the ingame addon menu normally.

There appears to be a bug of some kind. However I'm totally confused by it. I'll definitely need to look more at this... The revisions are mixed up somehow. The track *should* actually be approved according to the checkboxes moderators can see.

[Edit]
Somehow, the second revision of On an Iceberg had a lower id than the first. I don't even think that is possible, especially because it was after I manually rebuilt the database... That's kind of a scary thought actually. Like a wormhole opened or something :o Anyways, I added some more sorting so that the revisions stay in order, and will continue to ponder the mysterious feat of how data inputted later could have a lower id (esp because it auto-increments)

This is an automatic message, it was not written by me; it just means you checked the "this package contains third-party stuff" checkbox

For now, just check the boxes in a way that works. I need to actually remove those boxes for image uploads eventually.

Is there any error messages?
