Need Help for contributing to STK

Postby pranavg189 » 09 Jan 2015, 15:15

Hi, I am very new to this community. I love playing STK and I am a avid fan of it. I want to work on it for this years Google Summer of Code. Can anyone please tell me where should I start or Where I should Look for Ideas......Many Thanks....

Even if STK wont be part of the GSoC, it's still worth taking a look at the code. The best way is propably having a look at supertuxkart.sourceforge.net/Get_involved. The definitely first you need to do is compiling STK from source and getting comfortable with the tools we use (git, github, cmake). Then you can choose whatever task you'ld like to work, but it is suggested to start creating a challenge or solving a beginner task: https://github.com/supertuxkart/stk-cod ... ginners%22

Hi,

as already said - we don't know yet if we will apply, and if - then if we are going to get accepted. But anyway, last year's GSoC page is a good starting point:
