As far as I know, that is intentional, as the SuperTux difficulty is only unlocked after you have solved all challenges from the overworld. :)

Yeah, especially the new lighthouse track and the zen garden track are great, aren't they? The aesthetics are perfect.
That's not to disregard other improvements, of course ;)

They indeed look amazing!

Is there any place with fresh builds currently?

I would like to set up this on my integration server at http://contigrator.wizznic.org/ (where the awesome SNIS is also build).

If there are no other places, maybe one of the STK developers would help me get the system up and running, when that's been done, all you would need is to add a github web service-hook to point at the contigrator system, then builds can be triggered on each commit.

Hi,

sorry for the delay, we are just busy with GSoC atm.

Afaik only samuncle's website, and that is (afaik) not working anymore.

We already have travis CI integrated. So from this point of view we don't need anything else. Or, considering the thread you post this in, do you want to supply daily builds?

Cheers,

Ah, I did not know about your Travis CI installation, in that case I think there is no reason for another :) I don't believe "daily builds" are relevant on any project to be honest, (I do not mean for that to sound agressive or harsh), but automatic building on commits make great sense, both for devs who would like to get instant compilation results for multiple platforms, and for players who want the latest and (potentially) greatest :)

Could you point you to the Travis CI installation you have running for SuperTuxKart, I'd like to try those builds out ^_^

I didn't do the travis CL integration, and I don't think the binaries are actually available. The traviscl page is: https://travis-ci.org/supertuxkart/stk-code

Note that I am not sure how useful those binaries, are, since they would need a (potentially up-to-date) asset package as well.

Cheers,

It might be practical with something that actually made a .tgz containing the freshly built binaries + the newest assets, something that the average user (who would like to try the newest version of STK) could download, extract and play.

It would definitely be a nice feature, though the optimal would be to support all three main platforms. But I know that isn't easy to pull off so anything would help. :)
Hey pal, I took an oath for justice! "In happy days or tightest tights..." or something like that.

Hi Samuncle!

Do you still offer the nightly build service?

The last time I tried it out, it seemed out dated.

I think the build system broke when the code moved to git.

Are you sure? The filename still says "12472", while the svn revision number is up to 15000+.

Did you get advanced lighting and post-processed effects? If not, then the build you downloaded is probably very obsolete, maybe even older than the latest stable release.

Did you build that yourself or download it from samuncle's blog? I downloaded the data archive and it seemed obsolete.

Same here, I tried downloading the data files and it was all outdated stuff.

It was built from source. I thought you were saying that the git build system was broken...sorry about the confusion.

The link to Ubuntu ppa of the Latest Development Version from the bottom of this page seems unavalable now. mb it is better to provide this link - https://launchpad.net/~stk/+archive/ubuntu/daily?
